Terri Tuckerman - Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Welcome, I’m Terri Tuckerman. Starting a therapeutic journey can feel overwhelming, especially when you don’t know what to expect or where to begin. The idea of being vulnerable and opening up to someone new can feel intimidating. I’m here to offer a safe, judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable, respected, and heard.
Throughout my own journey, I have faced and overcome a wide range of challenges and obstacles. Those experiences have made me stronger and more resilient, and they shape the empathy, compassion, and understanding I bring into every session. Although my challenges may differ from yours, I can reassure you that you do not have to walk your journey alone.
I’m a strong advocate for men’s mental health, an area that is finally receiving the attention it deserves. With suicide rates for men substantially higher than for women, I’m committed to helping men feel seen, heard, validated, and safe.
I have worked in the psychotherapy field for several years, and my top specialty is sex therapy for both individuals and couples. I offer support around intimacy and help guide couples back to a place where they feel comfortable together again. This includes building or rebuilding trust, fostering acceptance, and recognizing each other’s strengths to create a loving, supportive relationship.
Together, we can focus on your strengths. It would be a privilege to join you on your journey, help you regain your sense of identity, and support you in feeling your best again.
“Embracing chaos might be the journey we need to take to finding peace.”

Insurance
We do not bill insurance providers directly; however, we offer superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Many of our clients have successfully received partial or full reimbursement depending on their individual insurance coverage. While eligibility varies, clients have reported success with a range of major providers across the U.S.
.
If you’d like to verify your benefits, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly and asking:
“What is my out-of-network coverage for psychotherapy or counselling with a Canadian based registered psychotherapist?”
.
For reference, Isabella Scaramuzza has compiled a list of insurance providers that have previously reimbursed clients:
- HSA
- Blueline
- Nyship (united health and blue shield)
