Our Clinical Model at Men’s Mental Health Institute

At MMHI, care is structured according to clinical standards and professional judgment.
Psychotherapy is guided by:
  • Individualized case formulation
  • Therapeutic pacing
  • Clinical assessment
  • Long-term emotional and relational work

MMHI operates as an independent, private-pay practice.
This structure allows clinicians to determine treatment based entirely on professional practice standards

Many Canadian clients receive reimbursement through extended health benefit plans.
After each session, clients receive a detailed receipt containing:

• Required provider information
Reimbursement eligibility depends on your individual insurance policy.

• Registered Social Workers

All services at MMHI are delivered in accordance with:

• CRPO & CCC professional standards
• PHIPA privacy regulations
• Applicable supervision requirements
Receipts include all necessary provider information for submission.

Reimbursement Process

After every session, clients receive:

A detailed superbill

Coverage varies by plan and may include:
• Deductibles
• Coverage percentages

MMHI cannot determine reimbursement outcomes.
We recommend verifying benefits directly with your insurer
